Holy Family College of Education for Women, Koduvayur, Palakkad is a self financing college, affiliated to the University of Calicut recognized by the National Council for Teacher Education No. F./SRO/NCTE/98-99/496, dated 8-5-1998.) The college is managed by the Marian Educational Agency, Muttikulangara, Congregation of the Holy Family. The Congregation of the Holy Family was founded in the year 1914 by the blessed of God, Mariam Thresia. This institution was started on the 15th June 1995, which is the first training institute of CHF and a new venture in the field of education in response to the increasing demands for women teachers and for equipping the challenges of the ever fast changing world and to play their role as teachers in creating a better world.
Aims
             This institution is concerned with the training of women to be competent teachers and educators through commitment to knowledge, love and truth. The vision behind it is to assist the teachers-trainers in their total formation, promoting natural, spiritual and intellectual potentials. For attaining this objective the college tries to place emphasis on quality over quantity and excellence over mediocrity and to promote creativity through competent Instruction, Curricular and Co-curricular activities and tempered discipline.
